Chennaiyin Football Club is latest club in the competition. The franchise is owned by cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan.It is Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Chennaiyin FC will play their home matches at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium which has a seating capacity of about 40,000. The club picked the ex-PSG star Bernard MendyCristian HidalgoGennaro BraciglianoBojan DjordjicEduardo Silva LermaBruno Pelissari and Jairo Suárez as their 7 international players, for INR 2.34 Crore for all 7 players at an average value of INR 33.43 Lakhs per player.

DELHI DYNAMOS FC

          The Delhi ISL team has the largest star to feature in the tournament, Del PieroThe team will be owned and operated by Delhi-based DEN Networks. The team has entered an alliance with Dutch club Feyenoord. Their home ground is Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Look out for the world’s tallest goalkeeper in The Delhi Dynamos.

KERALA BLASTERS FC 

Kerala Blasters FC is an Indian Super League football franchise in Kochi, Kerala. The team is owned by former Indian cricket great Sachin Tendulkar and PVP Ventures. Kerala Blasters will play their home games at the Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium locally known as Kaloor International Stadium. The current capacity of the ground is 65,000. David James and Michael Chopra are huge promoters of Indian football and are fired up for the league.

NORTH EAST UNITED FC

          NEUFC are the only club in ISL based on region and not a city. John Abraham says, “We are 8”. The team will be owned and operated by Bollywood actor John Abraham and I-League club, Shillong Lajong. On July 16, it was announced that Spanish World Cup winner Joan Capdevila had signed a deal to become Northeast United Football Club’s marquee player for the Indian Super League. With strong grassroot programmes, this club shall impress one and all.
